Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg  was born on the 18th  of  October 1960  but we all know him as Jean-Claude Van Damme. Did you know that Brussels-born actor who has a net worth of $30 million? Maybe that is why he is called “The Muscles from Brussels”.

He’s not just an actor, he is also martial artist, screenwriter, film producer and director.

Since his childhood he was keen on Martial Arts and started Karate at the age of ten. He might practiced Shōtōkan Karate and Kickboxing for years but he even studied ballet for five years.

Jean-Claude Van Damme got married a few times. He got divorced from his wife Gladys Portugues almost 15 years after they remarried again. She is not only one woman as a wife for him. There were a few more hot girls like Darcy LaPier,  Cynthia Derdian and Maria Rodriguez got married to him. He also had relationships with Alena Kaverina (2009 – 2016), Savanna Samson (1998) and even some rumors about Kylie Minogue (1994). He has 3 kids from these marriages.

He also passed his Martial Art and Acting  talents to all his kids. Kris Van Damme is the first son is also Martial artist and Actor he also is credited as the writer for his father’s 2010 film, The Tower. His daughter Bianca Bree started acting — and eventually, doing martial arts — alongside her dad as her siblings, in 2008’s The Shepherd: Border Patrol. Bianca says: “I didn’t like what I saw on-screen when I watched my first film. I realized that if this was what I was going to do, I needed to do it right. Our relationship definitely had its ups and downs with my father, but now we’re cool. We’ll go to the gym and kick and stuff.” Nicholas Van Varenberg is the youngest son of Van Damme also had some acting alongside his dad.

Jean-Claude Van Damme Awards:

Even Van Damme was very unlucky to Nominated as a Worst New Star in 1988 with Bloodsport;  he nominated as Most Desirable Male  award between 1992-1994 on MTV Movie Awards.

He Won Bollywood Movie Award as an International Action Super Star  from Bollywood in 2004, He also Won Golden Lotus Award from Macau International Film Festival in 2014.

Jean Claude Van Damme works out everyday. His day starts with his bicycle and later he continuous with kickboxing and stretching.  When he works on chest he works on his back and tights. When he works out on his shoulders he works out on his upper arms and fore arms. He always works on his calves and abdominal s daily. He says “The leg muscles, including the gluteus muscles, are of the utmost importance in developing not only lower body strength, but also upper body strength and mass” He does cardio three times a week. He believes age shouldn’t stop training that is why he still keeps his body shape as the same as he was young.

Chest: 4 sets of barbell bench press of 8-10 reps, 4 sets of Barbell Incline Bench Press of 8-10 reps

3 sets of dumbbell flyes of 8-10 reps, 3 sets of parallel bar dips of 10 reps, 3 sets of pullover of 12 reps

 Back: 4 sets of chin-ups of 8 reps, 4 sets of close grip chins of 10 reps, 4 sets of T bar rows of 12-15 reps

4 sets of bent over barbell rows of 8-12 reps.

Thighs: 5 sets of squats of 15 reps, 4 sets of front squats of 8-10 reps, 3 sets of hack squats of 10 reps

4 sets of leg curls of 10 reps, 4 sets of standing leg curls of 10 reps, 3 sets of straight leg dead lifts of 10 reps

Calves: 4 sets of donkey calf raises of 10 reps, 4 sets of standing calf raises of 10-15 reps.

Abdominals: ­­3 sets of crunches of 25 reps, 10 sets of bent over twists of 10 reps, 3 sets of machine crunches of 25 reps, 10 sets of half crunches of 10 reps.

Tuesday/Thursday/ Saturday

Shoulders: 5 sets of behind the neck presses of 15 reps, 4 sets of lateral raises of 8 reps, 4 sets of bent over dumbbell laterals of 8 reps, 3 sets of dumbbell shrugs of 10 reps

Upper arms: 5 sets of standing barbell curls of 10 reps, 4 sets of incline dumbbell curls of 8 reps, 3 sets of concentration of 8 reps

4 sets of lying triceps extensions of 10 reps, 3 sets of triceps cable press downs of 8 reps, 3 sets of one arm triceps extensions of 10 reps

Fore-arms: 4 sets of barbell wrists curls of 10 reps, 3 sets of reverse wrist curls of 10 reps

Calves: 4 sets of seated calf raises of 10 reps,

Abdominals: 4 sets of reverse crunches of 25 reps, 10 sets of seated twists of 10 reps, 4 sets of vertical bench crunches of 25 reps

That fell through as he had a prior deal for another game under the auspices of the Sega Genesis platform. Jean-Claude Van Damme avoids sugary food but time to time he enjoys his oatmeal cookies with his coffee. He also avoids sweetened drinks and food. He believes fibre  is important for human body and we must get enough fibre for protecting our bodies from hearth disease or any type of cancer. He says ” If you are working on muscular part of your body you need protein. Fruit, vegetables, rice, bread combine with protein sources such as egg and soy products are on my daily diet. I occasionally eat meat but no fat on it. I eat 12 times a day. Balanced small meals which contains what you need in it is better than diet food combinations”
