Dwayne Johnson’s Films, App Games and Books

Thanks to his hard work, Johnson has launched a successful acting career and managed to place himself amongst the highest paid Hollywood actors. His first acting role was in the television series That ’70s Show  in te episode  “That Wrestling Show,” were he played his own father. He then jumped to the big screen and appeared in the movies The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King (his first major starring role). As reported by Forbes, he has scored a number of box office hits during his career. These include The Scorpion King (2002), The Rundown (2003), Faster (2010), Snitch (2013), Pain and Gain (2013) and Hercules (2014).

For his role in The Scorpion King, he won a Teen Choice Award as the “Choice Movie Villain”. Later on, he would win another Teen Choice Award for his role in Moana in the category “Choice Fantasy Movie Actor”. He also won another one for starring in Jumanji in the category “Favorite Movie Actor”.

He has also been nominated for MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team , Critic’s Choice AwardPeople’s Choice Award   for several of his other films.

The Rock’s App Games and Books:

In collaboration with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, WWE announced a 3D action game for mobile devices called Rockpocalypse on 1st April 2013. This is the first of its kind by WWE. However, this is not the only game where you can play as The Rock and beat up and slam your opponents. There is also Revolution Death Match Fight, WWE Immortals and WWE Champions


The Rock has also released a couple of biographical books – in case you want to find out more about him. Books by him available for purchase include DWAYNE JOHNSON: 18 Tips from One of the World’s Most Disciplined Minds, The Rock Says and Dwayne Johnson “The Rock”.


Highly recommended among his books is The Rock Says, which many people have enjoyed. In the book, he gives insight into his work ethic, positive attitude and desire. It tells you how he manages to be awesome every day of his life and how you can do the same.
