Did you know there are a few famous men known as Chuck Norris in America?

A musician from Kansas City, a politician from California and of course last one we know as an actor, martial artist, film producer and screenwriter  from Oklahoma.

We only talk about Carlos Ray Norris known as Chuck Norris. He was born in 1940. Even he is very aged actor he is still looking good for his before 80’s. Chuck Norris is 5 ft 10 in and weighs 170 pounds.

Who would imagine; he was a shy and unathletic when he was a child. He got his nickname as Chuck when he was in South Korea as an Air Policeman in the United States Air Force. His net worth is currently estimated to be at $70 million.

Norris won many championships as a martial artist. He founded his own school of fighting called Chun Kuk Do. Norris is also has a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and Judo. 

Relationships and Philanthropy

He first married to his classmate Dianne Kay Holechek and later former model Gena O’Kelley. He has 5 kids and 13 grandchildren. He focused in children as a tactic to keep them away from drug-related pressure by training them in martial arts. He established the United Fighting Arts Federation and Kickstart Kids. He passes his passion and knowledge to kids who need an opportunity to build a better future for them.

Some of his films are Way of the Dragon, Good Guys Wear Black, The Octagon, Lone Wolf McQuade, Code of Silence, the Missing in Action trilogy, and The Delta Force. His television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

One of his latest films is The Expendables, he was a co-star alongside Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme in 2012.

He met Bruce Lee in 1968 and both became good friends. Here is a screenshot from the Way of Dragon in 1972 and fought against to Bruce Lee in the film as his nemesis.

Because of playing the title role in the television series Texas Ranger (1993-2000) Chuck Norris was made a Walker, an honorary member of the Texas Rangers in 2010 by former Texas governor Rick Perry.

We all know the Chuck Norris Facts which originally started appearing on the Internet in early 2005. Created by Ian Spector, they are satirical factoids about Norris. He has written his own response to the parody on his website. Norris even started to tour with the Chuck Norris facts appearing on major talk shows.

He wrote many books including political or religious books. Some of his books include:

This is one of the great book he wrote. This book is broken down from warm ups/stretching to strength/toning to belt isometrics and ending with weights. Some of Chuck Norris’ black belt degrees are: 10th degree black belt Chun Kuk Do, 9th degree black belt Tang Soo Do, 8th degree black belt Taekwondo, 5th degree black belt in Karate, 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and black belt in Judo.

He won the Fighter of the Year award in the Black Belt Magazine; he was the Action Star of the Year in 1982. He had his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star; he also won the Inspirational Acting in Television Award at the Grace Prize Award in 1999. He was honoured as “Honorary Texan” in 2017 because as he lived on a ranch near Navasota, Texas .

Norris Says changing life is not easy but not hard either. You can start with simple steps and reach your goal in time. Here is his shortlist for beginners.

  • Take a walk.
  • Download one of the many fitness applications and start with simple steps
  •  Join an exercise or sports teams.
  • Organize a fitness group or join one of your friends one.
  • Turn household chores into a fitness routine.
  • Get Second hand fitness equipment’s, DVDs or video training even use YouTube.
  • Start the action as soon as possible.
  • Try Boot camp workouts and start to think about bigger steps.

Total Gym is home exercise equipment brand endorsed by Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris. He uses his equipment every two days in his routines 15- 20 minutes. He also go for fast walk for 2 miles or use treadmill for 30 minutes Afterwards he does  10 minutes of crunches for abs and finishes with a few minutes of streching

Rest of the week days he does his martial art start with stretching, continuous with hand and feet combination strikes on a heavy bag and Jujitsu. Afterward he finishes with doing kicks in the pool.

Chuck Norris Diet

Chuck Norris found he couldn’t eat just anything after he hit his mid-30s and changed his diet.

Chuck Norris believes healthy and organic diet is important for disease prevention as well as weight maintenance. Even using substitutions have to be the same way. His diet contains fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, whole grains, vegetable oils especially virgin olive oil (should be cold- and expelled-pressed), free range chicken and fish. He stays away from process meat or sweetened drinks. He drinks lots of water during the day. He suggests carrying a bottle with you all the time one of the best thing for your health.

He prefers organic light breakfast flatbread, olives and cheese (from goats or sheep) even some times he prefers peanut butter and banana sandwich. He believes balancing is good thing for your body health.

He says ” I realize that it is costlier to buy foods of this kind, but when you consider the cost of long-term disease and health care, it is a much smaller investment in the long run, and you will feel better for it”

He loves his early dinner around at 5 or 5:30 p.m., no later than 6 pm. He eats free range chicken, salmon or tuna. He loves his organic salad and red baked potato or brown rice but with small amounts not big portions.

He loves his popcorn like everyone (only when he watches a movie) or sweet taste in his tea.

Instead of sugar he uses Stevia (an organic sweetener from a plant) , he has no butter in his popcorn of course.
